More than a map of kid-friendly activities in Scotland — the idea is to help with the mental load of planning fun family memories.
I started this because I often felt the need to be my pre-mum adventurous self, but wanted to take my kids along with me — mini adventures, exploring new things, getting the satisfaction of being outdoors and summiting first hills, whilst also wanting help finding the free, adventurous options like throwing stones and spotting wildlife, without always having to pay for expensive days out. And who doesn't want to know where the cafes with play areas are when you're travelling about?
I love collecting, finding and trying fun days out for my family — nothing more satisfying than tiring them out after a climb up a hill, some muddy wellies and a coffee in peace while they go wild on the swings — and I think I'm pretty good at it. Friends often ask me for recommendations, so this is a chance to have it all in one place: for me (the mega-list of unverified places I have on my phone, copied from hundreds of social media posts and friends' recommendations), and hopefully you'll love it too.
